Abstract info

All participants are encouraged to submit poster abstracts to the 54th Nordic Coagulation Meeting, NordCoag2021. Accepted abstracts will be published on the official website of the congress: www.nordcoag2021.se

Poster prizes will be awarded to the best posters in 3 categories: best clinical, best laboratory science and best basic science poster. The winning posters will be awarded prizes of 1000 Euro each, and the winners will be announced during the dinner on Tuesday 30 November 2021.

Abstracts should be submitted by email to linus.engdahl@halmstadevent.se before October 26th, 2021. Confirmation of acceptance will be sent out within one week after receiving. It is incumbent on the submitter to notify all authors of the decision.

Abstract submission guidelines

- The abstract submitted must be the original work of the author(s).

- The submission of an abstract carries with it the obligation that it will be presented at the Congress by the presenting author.

- Only submission followed with a registration will be published.

- Submissions received after the posted deadline will not be considered.

The format of the abstract

- Written in English, be single-spaced, and with Times New Roman font 12 in the latest version of Word.

- The heading must be in capital letters followed by the full names of authors and their affiliations. The name of the presenting author must be underlined.

- The text should not contain more than 300 words, and preferably be divided into 4 sections (Background (including aim(s) or hypothesis), Methods, Results, and Conclusions).

- The abstract must be sent as a two-page attachment to linus.engdahl@halmstadevent.se and labeled Abstract NordCoag2021. The attachment should be named after the presenting author’s surname (followed by number if the same author is responsible for more abstracts). The first page of the attachment must include the full name, address and e-mail to the presenting author. It should also contain a statement regarding potential conflict(s) of interest by the authors. The second page of the attachment must contain the full abstract.

Authorization to publish

Submission of the abstract constitutes permission for the 54th Nordic Coagulation Meeting programme committee to publish the abstracts in either print or electronic format.

Poster display

We offer free poster printing. The original for your poster must be sent to us before the 31th of October. Your poster can then be picked up in the congress registration and from there you can choose any of the designated poster areas to put it up. We assist with thumbtack/tape for set-up on site.

If you choose to print your poster on your own it can be no larger than 1200mm height x 900mm width.

The posters will be available for colleagues to read during the entire meeting but the corresponding authors are requested to be available for discussions during the scheduled poster sessions on Monday 29th November 2021 between 17.15 -18.15 and on Tuesday 30th November 2021 between 15.15-15.45.
